Gorrie Elementary PTA
The Gorrie Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an integral component of our school’s success. By working closely with the school’s administration to develop, support and maintain numerous programs and activities, the Gorrie PTA enhances and enriches the entire Gorrie community.
Gorrie PTA funds the acquisition of art, music, physical education and classroom enrichment items, and produces the Fall Festival and Spring Art Fair. In addition, Gorrie PTA funds the educational “mini-grants” awarded to the teaching staff throughout the year and beautifies the campus by funding and staffing landscape days at the school. These are just a few examples of the many service projects and significant financial support provided by the Gorrie PTA.
The funding for our activities and programs is generated by the annual Gorrie Walk-a-thon fundraiser. The successes we achieve are the result of our dedicated, dynamic and hard-working parents.
